Founded in April 2019, Band of Barrows is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of young individuals by supporting junior barrow exhibitors in North Texas. Our mission is to raise funds from generous businesses and individuals to ensure these young exhibitors receive the support they need to thrive. With a passion for pigs and a commitment to youth development, our founders Whitney L. Cardwell, Margaret Jensen Crosby, and Janie L. VanZandt have created a platform that celebrates and uplifts the next generation of agricultural leaders.
